The firm was formed in 2015 by the merger of two successful Johnston County Engineering companies known for quality, reliability, and integrity. Immediate opportunity for a reliable, energetic Civil Engineer with preferred experience in both residential and commercial Land Development.

This job will include preparation of planning, designing, permitting, and construction documents. Project types include site development, water distribution and sanitary sewer collection, road design, grading, erosion control, and stormwater Management. Position requires both office and occasional field work.

BACKGROUND/QUALIFICATIONS
• 4-year Civil Engineering degree and 2-7 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (Carlson Civil is a plus), Microsoft Office Products (including Excel), and experience creating construction documents.
• Permitting experience.
• Maintain knowledge base of codes, regulations, and guidelines relevant to required areas of specialty and appropriately apply this knowledge to consulting requirements for the project.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong sense of urgency, and deadline driven.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
• Detail oriented, high degree of professionalism, positive attitude, team player willing to collaborate with staff but able to work independently.
• Visionary thinker, Problem solver.

Job Type: Full Time/Ability to Commute to Clayton, NC
Schedule: Monday to Friday
